Bacon Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small heads lettuce
    6 to 8 boiled eggs, chopped
    1 lb. bacon, crumbled
    4 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
    1 c. mayonnaise
    salt
    pepper
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Layer lettuce in the bottom of a large salad bowl (glass makes very pretty salad).
    Sprinkle sugar, salt and pepper over lettuce. Slice or chop eggs on top of lettuce.
    Layer lettuce again. Sprinkle with salt, sugar and pepper.
    Add bacon (crumbled) layer. On top of bacon, add layer of Swiss cheese.
    Spread 1 cup mayonnaise on top of cheese.
    Can sit overnight for more flavor.
