Margisi Kofta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 raw egg
    1/2 c. oatmeal or bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. coriander powder
    1 tsp. fresh grated ginger or 1/2 tsp. ground
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. ground red chili pepper (optional)
    2 tsp. tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. oil for frying
    2 onions, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly grated ginger
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper or to taste
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In a bowl, place ground meat, raw egg, bread crumbs, salt, spices and tomato paste.
    Mix well, using fingers.
    Knead until the mixture is uniformly blended together.
