Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla, milk and dry ingredients; blend well.
Place dough on lightly floured board. Sprinkle a little flour over dough; roll to about 1/2-inch thick. Place on cookie sheet; bake in a moderate oven at about 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
