Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    cracker crumbs
    butter
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash; drain and mash.
    Add all other ingredients except cracker crumbs and butter.
    Top with cracker crumbs and dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in an ungreased 2-quart casserole for 30 to 40 minutes.
