Tahitian Ham Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground smoked ham
    1 lb. ground fresh pork
    2/3 c. coarse cracker crumbs (15 crackers)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. milk
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    dash of pepper
    8 slices pineapple
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. pineapple syrup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Thoroughly combine first 8 ingredients.
    Shape mixture into 9 patties.
    (Be sure patties are no wider than pineapple slices.)
    In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, line up a row of alternating patties and pineapple slices, starting and ending with a patty.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Combine remaining ingredients for glaze. Pour over roll and continue baking 1 hour longer, basting every 20 minutes.
    Serve with hot rice.
    Makes 8 servings.
