Bohemian Peach Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1 large can sliced peaches
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 sticks margarine
Preparation
    Drain peaches well.
    Beat egg whites (set aside).
    Cream margarine and sugar; beat well.
    Add egg yolks, beat; add flour and vanilla.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour batter in 9 x 13-inch pan, lightly greased and spread evenly.
    Lay sliced peaches on batter, putting them close together.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until nicely browned.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Never cover, as it will get soggy.
    You may use any canned fruit.
