Spanish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk, divided
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon (heaping)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. oil
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugars, cinnamon, salt and oil until crumbly.
    Take out 1 cup of mixture and add pecans to it to make the topping.
    To remaining mixture, add baking soda, baking powder, egg and 1/2 cup buttermilk.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Add 1/2 cup buttermilk.
