Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. syrup
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cook the brown sugar, butter, syrup and cream of tartar to 260\u00b0 until a hard ball.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Put in oven for 1 hour.
    Stir 3 times.
