Microwave Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
    2 c. water, divided
    1 (1 3/8 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
    4 medium thinly sliced carrots
    2 potatoes, in 1 inch cubes
    1 (8 oz.) can peas, drained
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    In 4 quart casserole, combine beef, 1/2 cup water, soup mix, carrots, potatoes
    and
    bay
    leaf.\tCover with glass lid. Cook at High for 8\tminutes
    and
    at
    Low
    1 to 1 1/4 hours or until beef and
    vegetables
    are
    tender.
    Stir
    occasionally. Stir in peas. Blend
    flour
    and remaining water until smooth. Stir into stew. Cook at
    High 4 to 5 minutes or until stew is thickened, stir once.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
