Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice or flavoring
    7/8 c. ginger ale
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Add flour, alternating last 2 cups with ginger ale.
    Add vanilla, almond flavoring and lemon juice or flavoring.
    Bake approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes at 275\u00b0 or until cake springs back when touched.
    Makes 3 small loaves.
