Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (2.1 oz.) Baby Ruth candy bars, chopped
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture.
Stir in candy bars.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inch apart onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until edges are slightly browned. Immediately remove to wire rack to cool.
Yields 4 dozen.
