Poppy Seed Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. corn oil
    1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh onion juice
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. poppy seed
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a small bowl, with electric blender, at low speed, mix together sugar, mustard, poppy seed and salt.
    Add vinegar and onion juice.
    With beater at medium speed, beat 3 minutes, gradually beating in oil in a thin steady stream until thick. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
    Serve over fruit salad.
    Makes about 1 pint.
