Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts with skins on
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt.
    Cook 8 minutes on High, stirring well after 4 minutes. Stir in butter
    and
    vanilla.
    Microwave
    2
    minutes longer on High.
    Add baking
    soda and stir quickly until light and
    foamy. Pour
    immediately
    onto
    lightly
    greased
    baking sheet; spread out very thin.
    Break into pieces when cool.
