Fruit Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium size can crushed pineapple
    2 1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 Tbsp. cherry or strawberry jello
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.
    Slowly bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
    Boil a few minutes.
    Whip 1 cup heavy cream; add sugar and vanilla to taste.
    Fold into tapioca mixture. Cool Whip can be added instead of cream.
