Irish Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. caraway seed
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, raisins and caraway seed.
Add egg, milk and shortening; bake in loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
