Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. (1 qt.) strawberries
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
Preparation
    Mix
    water, sugar and cornstarch.
    Boil until thickens. Add jello,
    then
    remove
    from heat and allow to cool.\tWash, stem and
    cut
    strawberries.
    Put into baked 9-inch pie shell and
    pour syrup
    over strawberries.\tLet chill, then top with Cool Whip.
