Potatoes And Carrots Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. raw potatoes, grated coarsely
    1 1/2 c. raw carrots, grated coarsely
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 can cream of celery soup (undiluted)
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
    1/2 c. American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Combine potatoes, carrots and onion in a buttered 2-quart baking dish. Blend soup, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over vegetables. Cover and bake in oven for 55 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese and continue baking for 15 minutes. Serves 8.
