Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can sweet potatoes, drained or 2 lb. cooked, fresh sweet potatoes (I use fresh)
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. soft butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, broken
    1/2 stick butter, softened
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation
    Put potatoes, 1/2 cup sugar, 4 tablespoons butter, salt and vanilla in a mixer bowl.
    Beat until mixture is very light and fluffy (this is the secret of the dish).
    Pile mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole.
    Mix together pecans, 1/2 stick butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and cornflakes to make a crumbly topping. Spread over sweet potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until mixture is hot and topping browned.
