Custard Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large eggs
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. milk
1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation

Beat eggs.
Stir in sugar, salt, vanilla, nutmeg and scalded milk then pour into egg mixture.
Pour into pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 22 minutes or until firm. Cool and serve.
