Swedish Nut Wafers - cooking recipe

4 tsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
2 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Lightly butter a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan.
Cream butter, then gradually beat in the sugar until well blended.
Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Mix together flour, baking powder and salt; mix into first mixture. Spread dough onto the cookie sheet as thin as possible, just enough to cover pan.
Sprinkle with nuts and press them into dough gently.
Mark with sharp knife into rectangle (cookie size), bake about 12 minutes.
