Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. raisins
1 grated fresh coconut
2 lemons
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Cream butter and sugar together and add eggs one at a time. Then add flour, baking powder and milk; stir until all is wet. Fold in nuts.
Pour half the batter into two pans.
The other half, add cocoa, allspice and raisins and pour into remaining pans.
Bake.
