Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef
    5 onions
    7 celery stalks
    5 carrots
    5 potatoes
    1 1/2 c. parsley flakes
    2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes or fresh tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. rice
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook beef and 1 onion with 4 quarts of water for 2 hours. After cooked, skim off fat on beef.
    Then chop beef.
    Add all ingredients and simmer for 4 hours.
