Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 lb. flank or round steak, cut 1-inch thick
    1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. sliced onions
    3 sliced carrots
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix together dry mustard, flour and salt.
    Pound mixture into the steak, covering both sides thoroughly.
    Brown on both sides in roasting pan.
    Cover meat with onions, carrots and tomatoes. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar over all.
    Cover and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
    Makes very tender steak.
