Polenta With Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 1/3 c. water
    2 2/3 c. coarse cornmeal
    7 oz. Fontina or Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced
    5 oz. butter
    salt
Preparation
    Bring water to boil, add salt and sprinkle in cornmeal, stirring constantly.
    Cook over low heat for 40 minutes.
    Polenta is cooked when it begins to leave the sides of the saucepan.
    Add cheese and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
