East India Chicken(Serves 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. curry powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 (3 lb.) cut up chicken
1/4 c. butter
1 large thinly sliced onion
1 c. raisins
2/3 c. rice
3 chicken bouillon cubes
3 c. boiling water
Preparation

Combine flour, curry powder, salt and pepper in paper bag. Add chicken pieces and shake until lightly coated.
Brown chicken in butter.
Sprinkle onion, raisins and rice over chicken. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and add to chicken. Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
