Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. pork butt roast
    2 large onions
    3 c. celery
    1 can mushrooms or 4 fresh ones
    1 Tbsp. bead molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can bean sprouts
    2 cans water chestnuts
    2 oz. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cut pork in small pieces and place in small amount of oil on stove in large heavy pan with salt and pepper.
    Cook slow until juice is drawn out (do not brown).
    Cover and cook about 40 minutes.
    Add celery and soy sauce; cook 20 minutes.
    Add onions and cook 10 minutes.
    Add mushrooms and cook another 10 minutes. Add cornstarch and bring to boil; add beans sprouts and water chestnuts.
    Cook slowly until juice is clear.
    Good.
