Taco Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep dish pie crust shell
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 can refried beans
    1 (8 oz.) jar salsa, divide usage
    1 c. shredded cheese
    shredded lettuce
    chopped tomatoes
Preparation
    Thaw shells 10 minutes before baking 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Brown beef; drain.
    Add seasonings and fix as package directs.
    Mix refried beans and half of salsa.
    Layer crust with half beef, bean mixture and cheese.
    Repeat layer. Bake 25 minutes.
    Put rest of salsa on top.
    After baking, add lettuce and tomato.
    Serve.
    (We use sour cream on ours, too.) Enjoy.
