"Dr. Ziment'S Prescription Garlic Chicken Soup For Colds And - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    28 oz. chicken broth
    1 bulb garlic (about 15 cloves)
    5 sprigs parsley, minced
    6 sprigs cilantro, minced
    1 tsp. lemon pepper
    1 tsp. minced mint leaves
    1 tsp. minced basil leaves
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. chili pepper flakes
Preparation
    Peel garlic cloves and place with other ingredients in a medium-size saucepan.
    Heat to boiling, then reduce to simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes, breathing fumes during cooking.
    If desired, strain soup, discarding solid ingredients, or puree it after removing bay leaf.
    Divide the soup into 4 portions, each of which should be taken at the beginning of a meal, one to three times a day.
