Creamy Raspberry Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    1 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine gelatin and water and cook over medium heat until dissolved.
    Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add milk and softened gelatin; beat until mixed.
    Refrigerate until slightly thickened, about 15 minutes.
    Stir in cream cheese mixture until smooth; fold in whipped cream.
    Pour into ungreased mold.
