Mary'S Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. quick grits
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 stick melted butter
    3 eggs
    half and half
    6 oz. Cheddar cheese (for topping)
Preparation
    Cook grits.
    Add cheese, butter and garlic.
    Stir until blended.
    Beat 3 eggs in measuring cup.
    Add half and half to eggs to measure 1 3/4 cups total.
    Add to grits.
    Put in casserole. Top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 10.
