Seasoned Buttery Vegetables And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 c. (12 oz. pkg.) extra wide egg noodles, uncooked
    1/3 c. butter
    2 c. fresh broccoli florets
    1 c. green pepper strips
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped fresh basil leaves or 1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, melt butter.
    Add broccoli, green pepper and mushrooms.
    Cook just until tender.
    Add hot pasta and remaining ingredients, heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
