Sarah Circle Christmas Shrimp Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices slightly dry bread, crusts trimmed and cubed
    2 c. canned shrimp (I use frozen)
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/2 lb. sharp American cheese (2 c. shredded)
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt, pepper and paprika
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Put 1/2 crumbs in casserole.
    Add shrimp, mushrooms and 1/2 cheese.
    Top with remainder of bread and cheese.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add seasonings and milk; mix.
    Pour over the casserole. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
    (May be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.)
