Twin Mountain Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    6 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour; measure and resift 3 times with baking powder and salt. Cream butter and shortening; blend in sugar gradually. Add beaten egg and beat until smooth and fluffy. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Spoon into buttered muffin pans, filling about 2/3 full. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Makes 24 muffins.
