Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick soft butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 heaping Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, salt and flour together.
Add beaten eggs, buttermilk and nutmeg.
Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Nutmeg may be sprinkled on top of pie, if desired.
