Easy French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 packs yeast
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. hot tap water
    7 1/2 to 8 c. flour
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and yeast in large mixing bowl.
    Add hot tap water and oil at one time.
    Stir until dough leaves sides of bowl.
    Turn out on floured surface and knead 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    Put in greased bowl.
    Turn cover and let rise until doubled.
    Turn out.
    Divide in half.
    Roll each half to 12 x 15-inch.
    Roll tightly from long side.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Slash top 3 to 4 times diagonally.
    Let rise.
