Grandmother'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. molasses
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Stir in molasses.
    Combine dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes until done.
