Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 oz. brown sugar
    43 oz. catsup
    22 oz. water
    1/3 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 1/3 oz. vinegar
    1 tsp. Lea & Perrins sauce
    2 tsp. liquid smoke
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    1 can pickling spice
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except pickling spice.
    Pour pickling spice in a strainer and put in mixture.
    Cook on low heat for 3 hours.
    Remove strainer and discard spices.
    Refrigerate sauce.
