Squash Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. canned squash
    1/2 c. vegetable or salad oil
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. milk
    chocolate bits, peanuts, butterscotch bits or dates (may be added)
Preparation
    Combine squash, sugar, oil and egg.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
    Add to squash mixture.
    Add soda, dissolved in milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop on greased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
