Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. unbleached flour
    2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. cooking oil
    1/3 c. orange juice
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. finely diced (2 large or 2 medium) apples
    1 tsp. cinnamon mixed with 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and baking powder together into a large bowl.
    Combine oil, orange juice, flavoring and eggs; add it to the dry ingredients, a little at a time.
    Mix until smooth (don't overmix).
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
    Pour half the batter into the pan.
    Spread half the apples evenly over the batter and sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar.
    Repeat with other half.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 and 1/4 hours. Remove from oven, place on a rack and let stand about 10 minutes before removing from pan.
