Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or Crisco
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. lemon or almond extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter; add sugar.
    Cream until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add baking powder to flour.
    Add to mixture alternately with milk and flavoring.
    Bake in tube pan 1 hour and 15 minutes at 315\u00b0.
