White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together three times. Cream sugar and shortening; add milk, stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Frost with your favorite frosting.
