Spiced Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cream of tartar and cinnamon.
    Pour in boiling water.
    Boil until soft ball stage.
    Remove from fire.
    Add vanilla and pecans.
    Stir until mixture sugars.
    Turn out on waxed paper and separate pecans.
