French Pastries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans crescent rolls
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Press 1 can of crescent rolls into a 13 x 9-inch pan, sealing perforations.
    Cream 1 cup sugar with cream cheese and vanilla. Spread this over dough.
    Top with remaining can of dough.
    Brush with egg yolk.
    Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Best when served same day at room temperature.
