Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour (plain)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk, scalded
    2 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    25 vanilla wafers
    4 bananas, sliced
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Blend 3/4 cup sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler. Add milk slowly and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
    Beat egg yolks; combine with custard. Cook 2 minutes longer.
    Add vanilla.
