Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Put water, sugar and pineapple in top of double boiler and bring just to boiling point.
    Mix flour and cornstarch and add to pineapple mixture.
    Cook until it thickens.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    When cool, fold in egg whites.
    Pour into 2 baked pie shells.
    Top with 1/2 pint whipped topping for each pie. Sprinkle with coconut.
    Let stand in refrigerator overnight.
