Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) bag frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt or less
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place hash browns in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt butter and pour over potatoes.
    Add salt, pepper and onions.
    Mix soup and sour cream; pour over potatoes.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Top with crushed Ritz crackers (about 32) and 1/4 cup melted margarine. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 to 40 minutes.
