Hard Cinnamon Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. light corn syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon oil flavoring
powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in a large saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Boil without stirring, until the temperature reaches 310\u00b0 or until drops of mixture form brittle threads in cold water.
Remove from heat and allow to stand until all bubbles have simmered down.
Stir in flavoring and coloring.
Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet. When cool enough to touch, break in pieces and coat with powdered sugar.
Store in airtight container.
