Louise'S Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 Tbsp. oil
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. boiling water
1 egg, separated
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix cornmeal, sugar, and oil.
Add 3/4 boiling water.
Mix well.
Beat egg yolk and add to mixture along with the buttermilk. Whip egg white and fold in.
Pour into muffin tins sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12-15 minutes.
