Sweet-Potato Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sweet potatoes
    1 egg, beaten
    3 Tbsp. cream
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. powdered nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. powdered cloves
    16 marshmallows
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and cut into pieces. Cover with water.
    Bring to a boil and boil 20 minutes or until tender. Drain potatoes and mash. Beat egg, cream, salt, sugar and spices together, then beat into mashed potatoes. Whip until fluffy.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Pile whipped potatoes in baking dish.
    Press marshmallows lightly into potato mixture. Bake, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until marshmallows are melted and browned.
    Makes 6 servings.
