Strawberry Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, blend together sugar, flour, salt and milk.
    Beat eggs and vanilla.
    Place over boiling water and stir until thick.
    Set aside until cold.
    Cover crust with a layer of sliced strawberries.
    Top with filling and refrigerate to chill. Spoon whipped cream around edge of filling.
    In center, put whole berries.
